About
I’m Alisa, a stay-at-home mom and I love internet marketing. I give recommendations about food, crafts, restaurant, and online deals to my friends on facebook, twitter, and other social media channels. I didn’t realize some people actually work doing this. Right now, I do a little internet marketing for some friends and clients: a nursing home managed by the Camillians (they are a religious group who care for the sick), and a few friends who are based in the US who also operate on the internet.
I spend most of my waking hours online, taking breaks to eat, bathe, cook or do chores. It is convenient and cheaper than commuting for work, but it can be lonely too since you will eventually realize that you wont have any social life and the only people you get to meet are a thousand miles away from you. But because of the internet, I have found ways to keep in touch with my friends and family overseas like email, twitter, and sending links to websites that piqued my interest.
the only drawback was I have so many bookmarks and links that I have saved in my “read later” google app that I don’t have enough time to read or share it with my friends. While facebook is a great tool in sharing some of them in my wall, I cant help but feel I have been “spamming” my friends with the things I’ve come across.
With the new updates in wordpress, I decided to start blogging again. My old blog is thumbbook.wordpress.com. I use it to write about some of the events happening in my life, but with this new blog. I will write about some interesting links that I have discovered.
I hope you do stick around and also share with me some of the things that you find interesting too.
